MON-90
The MON-90 is a larger version of the MON-50 with a greater effective range of 90 meters, as indicated by its name. Unlike the MON-50, the MON-90 is not equipped with folding "scissor-type" support legs. It can be mounted using a wooden peg. The MON-90 is supplied in a distinctive case (the same size as the case for an 82-mm mortar round), the lid of which has a recess with a sighting mark that serves as a support for the mine. Sometimes the MON-90 can be found mounted directly on this transport box. Like the MON-50, the MON-90 has two M-10 threaded fuse sockets, allowing for the use of two different types of fuses. The mine’s fragmentation effect is provided by 2,000 pieces of cheved steel, each 7 mm long.
