OZM-72
The OZM-72 (Fragmentation-Barrier Mine 72) is a pop-up fragmentation mine with a larger explosive charge than its predecessors (the OZM-3 and OZM-4). The mine’s inner casing is housed within an outer casing made of sheet steel. The upper part of the mine features an offset threaded socket for the primer and a central socket for the detonator, sealed with a steel plug. The OZM-72’s fragmentation element consists of pre-formed striking elements in the form of chopped steel rods.
