The PTM-4 "Knockout-2" anti-tank cluster cumulative-high-explosive anti-bottom mine is designed for remote mining of terrain using VSM-1 helicopter systems, airborne container systems, and RBC, RZSO cluster rockets, the UMZ and UMZ-K universal mine barriers, the PKM-1 portable mining system, and the PTM-4R variant manually.
The PTM-4 mine consists of an elongated steel semi-cylindrical casing and includes: a non-contact detonator with a magnetic target sensor, a pyrotechnic delay ring, an actuating and detonating mechanism, and a programmable electronic self-destruction device; an explosive charge with a gel-like cumulative liner and a detonation means, and a device for orientation in flight and on the ground surface in the form of a spring-loaded fabric cover.
