Solubility
Soluble in ethyl alcohol, ammonium hydroxide or aqueous solution of sodium thiosulfate.
Toxicity
Known to cause dermatitis with abnormal reddening of the skin, severe itching and deep ulceration, especially on the fingertips; therefore, it should be handled with minimal skin contact. Inhalation of its dust should be avoided, as excessive exposure causes fatigue, headache, eye and respiratory irritation. In overly sensitive people, a pronounced drop in blood pressure can be observed.
Application
Initiating explosive substance. It is used in KD, ED.
